One of my goals for 2018 is to not just look for the positive, but to be #huntinghumor. We all know homeschooling can be stressful and laughing is good for our body, mind and soul! I found today’s giggle on one of my best friends’ pages on Facebook. Wouldn’t you agree, Lauren is CLEARLY not a homeschooler!?! Can you see what is wrong with this picture?
What do homeschoolers do with tons of books? And who thinks it is better to have a monochromatic color scheme than to see the titles of the books?!! THAT (turning the book around so you can’t see the title on the spine) is evidence enough that she can’t be a homeschooler! Right?!!
Homeschoolers love books! And the only thing we are worried about is when to buy more bookcases and possibly what is the best price. Which one of these is your favorite?
A. This one is s GREAT Price with the 46% off!
B. Expensive, but still 31% off!
C. Not on sale, but isn’t it pretty?
D. Now we are talking!
Volumes of books will fit these! And did you notice there are two for that price?
E. I sort of like this one because it is different!
But it is awfully small, don’t you think?
I think my favorite is A. Which one do you like?
Why am I #huntinghumor in 2018?
Remember one of my goals this year is to hunt for humor. Today, Leann provided it! Thanks Leann!! If you have a great resource for clean humor, please leave me a note in the comments and let me know or email us at the link below! Why? Because life is so stinking stressful these days! I don’t want to just survive, I want to thrive… and I love to laugh. This is a great article from Huffington Post about why laughter is good for our health! Did you know…
A good laugh can be compared to a mild workout, as it exercises the muscles, gets the blood flowing, decreases blood pressure and stress hormones, improves sleep patterns and boosts the immune system.
Be sure to finish reading that article on Huffington Post and know that I want to be that “fun friend!”And you can help me! If you stumble across clean humor, send it to us!!
Hope you have a great week!
