Welcome to the Hip Homeschool Hop!

hip homeschool hop

Thank you for linking up with us on our Hip Homeschool Hop! We’re glad to have you. And if you’re here to take a look around and find some fun topics, good information, ideas, or support, we’re glad to have you too! But first we hope you’ll take a look at some of our team members’ favorite posts from last week’s Hop. Enjoy!

Leann, one of the co-owners of the Hip Homeschool Moms site, chose 25 Fun Back-to-Homeschool First Day Ideas  as her favorite post from last week’s Hop. Here’s what Leann had to say about why she liked this post so much: “Starting the school year with a special first day tradition or event is fun for kids and parents both! We love to do ice cream for lunch, but this article has lots of other great ideas that we may implement as well!” We hope you love some of the ideas shared in this article.

Wendy, another Hip Homeschool Moms co-owner, chose Ancient Greece and the Olympics Unit Study: Week 1 in Review as her favorite post from last week. She loved this post because her daughter absolutely loves studying about Ancient Greece, and she is very much enjoying the Olympics, so they’re looking for new ideas for fun things to do to learn more about both.

Guidelines for the hop:

  1. You can link up to 3 posts from your blog. Make sure you use the exact URL to the post.
  2. You can link up kid activities, homeschool related, or homemaking/recipe posts. Posts unrelated to these topics will be removed. (Please no product reviews or “marketing” posts unless they are homeschool related.)
  3. Please either include the Hip Homeschool Hop button (found at the bottom of the site) or a link back to Hip Homeschool Moms.
  4. The linky will go live each week at 6am EST, and will be live until Saturday at midnight.

About the author

I am one of the owners of Hip Homeschool Moms. I live in the South with my husband, Scott, and 3 children. I am a Christian, homeschooling, work-from-home mom. I love working out and teaching Training for Warriors classes at my local gym. My husband, Scott, and I were high school sweethearts and have been married for 27 years. Our oldest child, Hannah, is now age 22. She has autism, and I started homeschooling her at age 2. Our son, Noah, is now age 21 and is the second homeschool graduate in the family. Our youngest child, Mary Grace, age 15, is the remaining homeschool student.
