I want to welcome you to my little corner of this big homeschooling world. I’ve been on this journey for quite a while—having homeschooled my three boys all the way through. Two are still in college, and one has graduated and launched into the world!
My heart behind everything I do is to help you homeschool with confidence, joy, and creativity. I want to make this season fun, memorable, and fulfilling for both you and your children. I’m here to walk alongside you, to encourage you, and to make sure you know—you are not alone.

In the homeschooling journey, I believe it’s essential to provide resources beyond mere busy work—materials that truly engage and inspire our children’s innate curiosity. This month in Wonderings, we’re turning our eyes to The Living World—what grows, what thrives, what adapts—and how we can do the same.
After the EF3 tornado that hit our home this spring (nicknamed Taz, because yes, it spun through like a cartoon whirlwind), I’ve been reminded just how alive and interconnected our world really is. Trees lost. Roots exposed. And yet… new growth is already pushing up through the debris. That kind of resilience and wonder is exactly what June is all about.
Inside this 300+ page edition, you’ll find free unit studies, hands-on science, crafts, recipes, and joyful learning rooted in nature. We’re studying biomes and landforms, painting fireflies, mapping ecosystems, and exploring the tiny parts of our world that carry big meaning. It’s learning that moves—through the backyard, through the woods, through life.
