HHM’s Favorite Posts & The Hip Homeschool Hop – 6/3/14
Welcome to the Hip Homeschool Hop!
Our Favorites from last week:
Wendy of Homeschooling Blessings wanted to feature three posts this week!
First, she liked the Road Trip Printables for Kids: Alphabet I Spy from 3 Boys and a Dog.
Wendy commented “For those of us who plan to take a road trip with our kiddos this summer, this is a perfect post at a great time!”
Next, Wendy enjoyed Enchanted Homeschooling Mom’s – Glow in the Dark Fireflies Craft.
Wendy shared “We have lots and lots of fireflies in the woods near our house right now, but this cute firefly craft is great for those who don’t have real fire flies to enjoy!“
Last, but not least, Wendy loved the post Messy Mondays: Fly Swatter Painting by Joyfully Weary.
Wendy said “What a cute and creative idea! Fly swatter painting! I think even bigger kids would love this.”
Heidi from Starts at Eight chose 10 Homeschooling Blogs I Love to Read from The Sunny Patch.
Heidi shared “There were many blogs on the list that I know and love myself. There were others I was not currently reading that I checked out and really enjoyed, plus an added bonus of a few great freebie sites to check out!
Sarah of My Joy-Filled Life enjoyed Aspired Living’s Guide to Summer Reading Programs.
Sarah said “I never realized there were so many programs out there. This list is a great resource whether you homeschool or not. Plus you can get a Simple Summer Reading Log when you subscribe to Aspired Living.”
Trish from Live and Learn Farm had two favorites this week.
First, Trish enjoyed Crystal & Co.’s – 12 Easy Crockpot Dinner Ideas.
She commented. “I’m always looking for great Crock Pot recipes and the Cranberry Apple Butter Chicken recipe sounds fantastic! Already pinned it and will be adding it to my menu plan.”
Trish also appreciated fellow HHM Team Member, Heidi’s post – Earn Dual Credit in Your Homeschool High School.
Trish said, “I have been in the midst of creating schedules for my two high school students for next school year this weekend. My oldest will be taking two CLEP tests (at least) this year, and my middle will be taking one, so Heidi’s post on How to Earn Dual Credit in Your Homeschool High School was just great info and perfect timing!”
Guidelines for the hop:
- Link up to 3 posts from your blog. Make sure you use the exact URL to the post.
- Please no pinterest, fb, twitter, or other linky links! You can link up kid activities, homeschool related, or homemaking/recipe posts. Posts unrelated to these topics will be removed. (Please no product reviews or “marketing” posts unless they are homeschool related.)
- Please either include the Hip Homeschool Hop button (found at the bottom of the site) or a link back to Hip Homeschool Moms.
- The linky will go live each week at 6am EST, and will be live until Saturday at midnight.
