Home Art Studio homeschool art curriculum DVDs are designed to increase students’ love and appreciation for the visual arts while providing an opportunity to improve their abilities to problem-solve, think creatively, and express themselves artistically. Art history lessons are also integrated throughout, as well as cross-curricular suggestions for math and social studies. Students are introduced to drawing, painting, and sculpting, while lessons emphasize how art is everywhere.

Just one lesson per week will allow you to complete the program in less than a year. You simply need to provide the supplies! Lesson plan PDF documents are included on the DVD-ROM to help teachers make the most of each lesson-time. Easy-to-follow lessons are age-appropriate and concepts are reinforced in later grades; students may work at their own pace without any fear of falling behind. This program is perfect for parents who don’t have a lot of art experience, but who want to ensure that their children receive a well-rounded arts education.

Powerful Printing & Conquering Cursive are student-guided, multi-sensory, fun-to-use computer software programs. All students can learn to write fluently and legibly. Using a computer mouse – the modern-day equivalent to writing in the air or on the chalkboard – students learn correct letter patterns. Writing letters the same way every time builds the motor memory needed to reproduce letters using the finer coordination required with a pencil. Kids learn to write so they can write to learn! Instruction is customized for right-handed and left-handed kids!

This set is for children who are studying Medieval History. Life of Fred is a complete math program that relies upon the self-teaching learning style many homeschoolers love. The texts follow the life of Fred Gauss—a six-year-old math professor at Kittens University who was born on the slopes of the Siberian Mountains—who has many humorous, unlikely, and zany adventures. Because I want to encourage young children back to the wonderful art of sewing, I have designed an online video course which is perfect for teaching children how to sew their very own doll clothes.
