This third book in the zoology series takes students on a safari through jungles, deserts, forests, farms, and even their own backyard to explore, examine and enjoy the enchanting creatures God designed to inhabit the terrain. Exploring Creation with Zoology 3: Land Creatures of the Sixth Day will have your Family snuggling together as you discover amazing animals from primates to parasites, kangaroos to caimans, and turtles to the terrifying T-Rex!

Written for under-performing students who haven’t done well in conventional classrooms, this high school elective course will introduce teenagers to the basic tools, skills, terms, and concepts associated with shop, home, and community facilities. Each text covers a unique topic, including auto repair, carpentry, home remodeling, electrical, and construction work; the included activity books provide fill-in-the-blank, diagram completion, reading comprehension, and matching exercises for reinforcement and reflection. Each of the 75 lessons begins with a narrative involving teenage role models who demonstrate character and skills such as courtesy, honesty, integrity and commitment. Tools are suggested, but not required. Course Kit consists of five, soft-cover, saddle-stitch books with five companion activity books, plus a Teachers Resource Kit with blackline master for activity answer keys, 15 section quizzes, 5 chapter tests with answer keys and CD-ROM for printing as needed on your computer quizzes, tests and keys.

From counting to calculus and beyond, the Kumon Math Worksheets enable students to progress all the way up through high school-level math.

Uncle Sam and You will immerse students in a full year of learning about civics and government. Designed for students in grades 5-8, lessons focus on America’s founding documents, branches of government, patriotic symbols, voting, the election process, Washington, D.C., the presidency, how Congress works, American holidays, and aspects of federal, state, and local government. Each full-color lesson includes a short chapter to read that explains the topic to the student; chapters feature both modern and historical photographs and illustrations. Lessons conclude with a variety of subject-based activity ideas that relate to Biblical studies, literature, creative writing, art, vocabulary, reading assignments, and notes for the sold-separately (and optional) student workbook/lesson review. A weekly family activity that involves crafts, meals, and other multi-age activities is also provided. Fifteen units are included each text, with four lessons in each unit. Depending on how many activities are assigned, students will need 45-90 minutes per lesson. However, the back of each book includes fifteen optional lessons on America’s patriotic holidays. If five lessons per week are desired, the holiday lessons can be used as a fifth lesson or for other occasions. A total of 150 lessons/30 weeks of lessons are provided.
