Hands-On Bible

The series is designed to be used with Cuisenaire Rods and uses a hands-on approach. Designed for grades K-3, it is adaptable to any age. There are 6 books in the series.

This book & CD-ROM set is the second semester course of the Homeschool Programming Java and Android “TeenCoder” course-year; this book is preceded by Java Programming, which is a prerequisite for this course. Students must have a good knowledge of the content of Java Programming, be able to use application menu systems, and walk through their file system and directory structures in order to complete this book. The TeenCoder C# series may be completed before or after this years’ course. Students in grades 9-12 will learn to write their own mobile applications and understand the building blocks for Android applications by following the user-friendly book & course CD and completing the activities integrated into each chapter. Lessons written using plenty of screenshots and visually distinct programming language fonts ensure that instructions and code are clearly understood. Student activities and fully coded solutions for all activities are included.

Bible Study Guide for All Ages is an in-depth bible study in 416 lessons. The Student Pages guide you through each lesson and come in four levels covering ages 3 through 6th grade. The Beginner level (for ages 3 – Kindergarten) and Primary level (for 1st – 2nd grade) require a parent’s guidance throughout the lesson. The Intermediate level (3rd – 4th grade) and Advanced level (5th-6th grade) may either be guided by the parent or completed by the student on their own. Drawing is not a skill reserved for special people who have “talent.” Drawing is a skill, just like reading or math is a skill. Each lesson level builds on the skills developed in the previous level.

Our goal is to provide you and your students with an approach to drawing that insures success (e.g, the cat you draw will LOOK like a cat), while leaving plenty of room for creative interpretation (the cat you draw will be YOUR OWN unique cat).

The images for the lessons come from around the world and therefore are a visual tie to geography, history, literature, and other topics. We hope you explore those connections. Five levels are available, for grades K-12. Lessons can be purchased invidually or as a set per level.
