Welcome to the Hip Homeschool Hop!

Favs from last week:

Did you see these posts? We loved them! Here’s a few of our favorites from last week:

Sarah one of our newest team member who blogs at My Joy Filled Life, is currently doing an Old Testament Lap Book and she loved using some ideas from Homemaking with Heart‘s Old Testament Lap Book Review.

Wendy is always eager to encourage new homeschoolers.  She blogs at Homeschooling Blessings and she enjoyed the tips to get started homeschooling from Navigated By Joy because “So many new homeschool moms are afraid to get started (and may never get started at all), but here is some simple and practical advice that may encourage you.”

Liz from Watch Me Homeschool loved Crystal and Co.’s name practice ideas because…’she secretly has dropped the ball on teaching her 3 year old his name…’.  Crystal also has 5 little boys and Liz has 4, and boy moms just gotta love on each other!

Trish with Live and Learn Farm said she connects with Crafting Connection’s post- -Less Is More & Little Ones because “We are in the process of trying to simplify and downsize our family’s life right now! To cut out the clutter, reduce the noise, and tame the busyness of our world… so this article really resonated with me”

Louanne who blogs at dwimble enjoyed Our Catholic Homeschool’s Morning Activity:  Perler Biggie Beads because “these beads are fun AND she posted links to some patterns that I plan on printing too.”

Taryn, who blogs at Hazy Daysenjoyed Joyfully Weary’s Autumn Tree Collages because– “Even though it’s soon summertime for us in South Africa, I’m loving the autumn / fall crafts I’m seeing all over. I love the fun these kids had making their fall trees.”

  1. Liz, thank you so much for choosing my preschool name writing practice activity. We boy moms sure do have to stick together. 🙂

Matthew is four and a half and we are just now really focusing on writing his name. I am a firm believer that they all learn at their own pace. I want learning to be fun and never forced.
