Designed to be a student’s first systematic introduction to the sciences, Exploring Creation with General Science, 2nd Ed. explores topics such as the scientific method, designing experiments, simple machines, geology, archaeology, biology, anatomy and other disciplines, providing a wide range of scientific exposure. Hands-on experiments are included throughout, giving students practical experience as they discover the principles behind the science! Looking at the world from a creationist position, topics are all presented with an eye towards God’s role in everyday life.

This second edition includes updates on relevant topics as well as stylistic changes. The primary function of the appendix (discovered in 2006) has now been included, as have higher-quality drawings and more colorful illustrations. Online resources for advanced students and a review appendix have also been included in this 2nd edition. This kit contains both the student textbook and test/answer key booklet. Grade 7, but may be used with younger/older students as parents see fit.

With a focus on the character, as well as the accomplishments, of these people who have done great things with their lives, readers will find multiple elements of these biographies to relate to. Short (page-and-a-half) biographical sketches present a quick look at the innovation and courage many had, profiling what they are remembered for today, and providing insights into their motivations. Critical thinking activities include sequencing of events and true/false questions; maps help students to see where events took place; and timelines provide an overview of particular time periods. An activity extends the lesson, and various games (crosswords, word scramble, etc.) provide a fun way to remember the important part of each biography. Self-paced Omnibus courses are geared for 7th – 12th graders. Omnibus is a Latin term meaning “all encompassing.” Combining history, theology and literature, these courses help students grow in their appreciation of the unity of all knowledge. Each year offers two courses; the primary books course and the secondary books course. They can be taken separately, but taken together, students earn three credits—history, theology and literature.

Spanish for Kids by Kids was created to give parents a fun and easy way for their children to learn Spanish.

The Video Series incorporates a teaching style that Kit developed over a decade with her own children.  It combines immersion with visuals  – adding a good dose of humor and fun.  Kit believes this makes it easier for students to retain what they learned.  Painful memorization is not useful or fun.

TruthQuest History puts God back at the center of the past.
Centered on “living books,” this creative approach to history integrates elements of both Charlotte Mason and Classical methods.
Short, very informal introductions are written directly to the student and open up each topic with a distinctly Christian perspective. Suggestions for activities or writing exercises are often included as well. The booklists follow, with selected annotations on what pages or sections to read and appropriate grade levels for each entry. Incredibly flexible in nature, families can proceed at the pace that’s best for their students as they select “spines,” biographies, in-print books, and out-of-print classics from the extensive lists.

Proceeding chronologically, entries include lists for Greek life, the Geography of Greece, Greek beliefs, Pythagoras, the Persian Wars, the Delian League, Lysander, Exnophon, Greece’s Silver Age, Alexander the Great, and other relevant unit-study topics.
