Vocabulary Without Memorization Word Web Vocabulary groups words in a new way to teach vocabulary in elementary grades through high school. Part of each lesson presents a Greek or Latin root word, prefix or suffix in a web format of related words, making retention possible for students without memorization. Two other vocabulary elements are part of each week’s lesson: The Real WorldWord® and the Wicked Word of the Week®. Its multidimensional lessons provide sequential structure to its weekly words. Word Web ties together spelling, grammar and usage, reading and writing, speaking and listening into an existing language arts curriculum.

The English II: Composition course from Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum (PAC) will continue to develop language arts skills by teaching students how to build strong writing skills in various contexts. This course was designed to help students who’ve been identified as exhibiting weak composition skills; it’s recommended for use as a grade 10 remedial writing curriculum.
This course teaches through five high-interest “text” booklets, which cover crafting strong sentence and paragraphs; how to write effective poems, letters, essays, narratives, articles, and research papers; how literary concepts such as cause and effect are used; parts of speech; spelling and pronunciation; and more.

Principles, Theories, and Precepts of Biology is the perfect introduction to biology for struggling students. The basic concepts and vocabulary are introduced to students in short chapters; questions and reinforcement exercises are given in the activities booklet. Learn about cells, bacteria, classification kingdoms, evolution from a young-earth creationist perspective, and more.

Textbooks contain approximately 60 pages each, activity books approximately 45. Non-reproducible pages. Set includes: 6 textbooks, 6 activity books, and teacher’s resource kit.

Life of Fred is a complete math program that relies upon the self-teaching learning style many homeschoolers love. The texts follow the life of Fred Gauss—a six-year-old math professor at Kittens University who was born on the slopes of the Siberian Mountains—who has many humorous, unlikely, and zany adventures. Informal in tone and approach, these books are designed to engage students in a fun narrative while also instilling a solid understanding of the principles of mathematics–without an abundance of repetitive drills!

The program is structured in different courses that cover multiple grades:

The Integrated Physics and Chemistry course from Paradigm Accelerated Curriculum (PAC) will introduce students to the people, places, and principles of physics and chemistry, including the scientists whose discoveries we rely upon today. This course has deliberately avoided complex math in order to draw students into high-school level science; it’s therefore perfect as a slow introduction to the topic, or for students who need remedial help! It can be used for pre-high school students, or for high school (recommended Grades 9-10 remedial).
