Hip Homeschool Hop 9/15/15
Welcome to the Hip Homeschool Hop!
We love sharing some of our favorite posts from the previous week’s Hop! We had some really great ones last week! We can’t feature all of the folks who linked up with us, but we are happy to have each of you, and we hope you’ll keep coming back to link up and to find other folks’ posts to read. When you visit the folks who linked up with us, please be sure to let them know that you found them on the Hip Homeschool Hop!
Our first favorite from last week was chosen by Trish, who is one of the Hip Homeschool Moms owners. Trish blogs at Live and Learn Farm, and she chose Planning Your Nervous Breakdown. All of us go through times that are difficult. If you’re going through a hard time or know someone else who is, be sure to take a look at this article!
Constance, our food blogger, blogs at Cosmopolitan Cornbread. This week, she chose Keeping It Real: Homeschool Confessions as her favorite. It’s easy for us to think everyone else has it all together when we don’t! This article encourages us to keep it real, not be so hard on ourselves, and hang in there!
Tanya, who blogs at The Natural Homeschool, chose 10 Reasons I Enjoy Doing Laundry as her favorite from last week. She had this to say about her choice: ” A tedious, yet necessary task. I’m not a big fan of it, especially folding and putting it away. But you know what? This post gave me a great perspective on this household job. I would add #11 to it: involve the children!”
Thanks for hosting 🙂
You’re welcome, Kelly! Thank you for participating!
I’m definitely going to check out that link about building a home school network. I’ve not been having a lot of luck finding any groups, but I know there are people in my neighborhood who are home schooling!
Sometimes local libraries are able to give folks information about finding other homeschoolers in the area. And sites like HSLDA (http://www.hslda.org/) and Homeschool Life (https://www.homeschool-life.com/) have info about homeschool groups in specific areas too. 🙂
Thank you so much for the feature! I really appreciate it. And thank you for hosting.
You’re welcome, Lindsey! Thank you for linking up with us! 🙂
