Our Favorites from last week:

Wendy from Homeschooling Blessings chose to feature two favorites this week!

First, Wendy liked the 10 Winter Activities for Kids shared by The Sunny Patch.

Second, Wendy enjoyed the article How Raising a Toddler Prepared Me for the Teenage Years from The End in Mind.

Heidi from Starts at Eight liked the New York City Unit Study shared by Year Round Homeschooling.

Heidi commented, “I have only been to NYC twice (even though we live in NYS we are still 5 hours away from NYC). My teen and I LOVE NYC and are heading there again in a couple of weeks. This is a great quickie mini-unit to learn a few facts about NYC and the Statue of Liberty (which we are hoping to visit this time around).

Wendy of WendyWoerner.com appreciated the post Hope for the Mom Who Yells from the blog Children are a Blessing.

Wendy shared, “I really like these tips for winning the battle against yelling. My mama was a yeller. She has many wonderful qualities and I don’t think less of her for it, yet, I wanted to be different. Fast forward to now, when I am mama to 5 from the age of 4 all the way up to turning-17-this-week, and I often find myself losing MY cool. These 5 tips are great for helping each of us curb our tempers, and I will be posting them where I will see them daily!
