Saying Goodbye to the Hip Homeschool Hop

Hip Homeschool HopWe are excited (and a little bit sad) to say goodbye to the Hip Homeschool Hop! We’ve been thinking for quite a while about the possibility of discontinuing the Hop, and we finally made the difficult decision to end this weekly event.

Why are we excited? Because we have other articles, encouragement, information, and events we want to share with you instead! We decided that, with so much to do and share, we simply don’t think the Hop fits well with our mission and purpose right now.

Why are we sad? Because we have hosted this weekly event since the summer of 2010, and it has brought so many wonderful people and articles to our site and our audience! In fact, the Hip Homeschool Moms site started 7 years ago with the Hop, and it grew and grew into what it is today! Just like when an old friend moves away, it’s a sad thing, but it’s for a good reason.

What does this mean for you? We sincerely hope that each of you will continue to come to our site to see what we have going on each week! And we hope you will leave your comments, thoughts, and encouragement for us as we strive to bring great information, giveaways, ideas, and encouragement to you both for your personal information and enjoyment and for your homeschool!

If you’ve been linking up with us for a long time, we truly are thankful for you! If you’re new to our site, we’re thankful for you too! And we do honestly hope you’ll continue coming to our site, commenting, and letting us hear from you regularly! We will miss our weekly Hop, but we think we’ll have just as much fun as we continue with our plans for the future! And we’d love for you to be a part of it!

Blessings,

Wendy and Trish
