Gift Guide to Games for Children Ages 6+
There are so many great games available now for young children! In fact, I had planned to do one post with some great game suggestions, but it’s going to end up being 2 or 3 posts because there are just too many to include in one.
Keep in mind that all children are different and that most games are appropriate for a wide age range, so even older elementary-aged children might enjoy some of these games. Have fun!
Melissa & Doug Family Dinner Box of Questions costs about $9.99 and is for 2 or more players. This game is great for those families who want to get a conversation going and get to know each other better while having fun and eating a meal together!
Jenga Classic Game costs about $7.87 and is for 1 or more players. We’ve found that we love playing this game individually, but it’s even more fun with another player or two.

Ticket to Ride costs about $35.99 and is for 2 to 5 players. This cross-country train adventure game is one of the most popular specialty games of all time!
Telestrations costs about $17.99 and is for from 4 to 6 players. It’s a great family game or a great ice-breaker for parties. No drawing skills are required!
Sorry costs about $25.00 and is for 2 to 4 players. This one comes with the vintage game board and components as well as a decorative tin for storage.
