One of the advantages of homeschooling is being able to integrate education with things our children love. Whether you want to use Minecraft as a virtual experience to your lessons or not, SKrafty‘s online courses are rich in content and automatically graded.  The cost of the classes are very low to make it affordable to large families but don’t let that fool you…. the content is great and you can mix in Minecraft to create an awesome educational experience.

About The Classes

Most all of their classes are built as self-paced, so they never close or fill up. They are broken down by weekly lessons and include automatically graded quizzes. Your children will earn badges as they progress through the weeks and also earn in-game rewards. There is a Minecraft Adventure Build for each lesson that they do in the SKrafty class servers. The builds are to further enrich the learning experience by using Minecraft to create a truly immersive educational experience. For example if your child is reading Narnia, the server is setup so that your child can be the different characters in the book and they get to build in Narnia as well. If the class is Mystery Of History and your children are learning about Ephesus, you might have an Ephesus Theater build. They get to walk around and virtually be in the Colosseum!

Their Courses Are Fun For All Grades

The age level for the classes range from age 5 through high school. There is something for everyone. With their subscription plans, your children will get access to all of the classes, half off the birthday parties and the online summer camp.

Building Assignments Are Fun!

Build assignments with friends and family to make it an even more fun experience. Think of it as virtual lap book that they can navigate through 3 dimensionally.
