    Each of these workbooks has fun word puzzles and writing activities that help children dig deeply into how God’s word applies to our daily lives.   • TeenCoder: Game Programming in C#

    TeenCoder: Game Programming is the second semester course in the TeenCoder C# series (preceded by the TeenCoder Windows Programming) and introduces 9th-12th grade students to the C# programming language, the Visual C# 2010 Express development environment, and Microsoft’s XNA Game Studio 4.0 development kit.

    Students will learn the basic of game programming, including game design and logic, displaying graphics, animating images, handling sprites, playing sounds, game physics, maze solutions, multi-player viewports, and even AI. Each chapter explains a programming concept in detail with corresponding sample code. Activities at the end of each chapter prompt the student to write their own program based on the material learned in the chapter.

    One Semester. Grades 9-12. 233 pages, softcover. Course CD included, which provides a Solution Guide PDF and fully coded solutions for all activities.

  • From Adam to Us

    From Adam to Us by Ray and Charlene Notgrass is a one-year world history and literature course designed for students in grades 5-8. The daily lessons are written in a narrative style and richly illustrated with color photographs and maps. Primary sources, literature, and hands-on activities help the student connect with the history in a personal way.

    The curriculum has thirty chronological units of five lessons each. Each weekly unit has one lesson from each of five categories:  major events in world history, how natural wonders of God’s creation influence history and culture, historic landmarks, biographies of influential people, and daily life and how it impacted technology and social change.

    Currently (Fall 2015), only the pdf version of this curriculum is available.  The print version will be available Spring 2016.

  • Beyond the Book Report

    Beyond the Book Report is our middle/early high school language arts curriculum. Beyond the Book Report is designed to pair with Analytical Grammar to provide a seamless, full-coverage, meaty, productful middle school language arts course that doesn’t take up your whole day. By using AG and BBR together (just add the vocab of your choice!), you can teach language arts in about an hour a day.

    The course covers literary analysis, journalism, poetry, drama, essays, oral reports, and research papers spread over three seasons. The video lectures and student forms, worksheets, and rubrics are all on a computer DVD. For grades 6 and up.
