I like the hands-on activities of this curriculum. It is great for kids who like to do projects, but I think it would be good for all learning types.

We used this program in our homeschool for the first time this year.
I liked that I only needed one book and that it came with a CD so I could print pages as needed. However, I found it difficult to find the pages I needed on the CD. The CD is not easy to navigate at all and I had a hard time determining what I should print for the program.
The chapters are very, very short. I found that there was not enough information for an older elementary child (such as my 4th grade daughter). I didn't feel that the book was thorough enough.
I did like that there are definitions for each lesson in the sidebar. I also enjoyed the easy-to-do experiments for each chapter. They are not too overwhelming or complicated.
Overall, I would only use this as an introduction and I would want to add supplements or further reading for a study of science. I was disappointed that the chapters were so short and we ended up covering two chapters per week and finishing the book in only one semester before we moved on to something else.

Used this with my second and third grade girls. They worked on it together, with me reading the lessons, and them completing the activities. It was easy to use and informative.

My daughter and I enjoyed going through this science book. The experiments were pretty fun. I do wish there were maybe a few more alternate experiments that you could do. I wish there was a little more text on some of the subjects but, overall, it was a lot of fun!

I was looking for a curriculum that would give a good overview of earth & space in 1 semester and Christian Kids fit the bill. The experiments were easy & fun. I loved that the cd contained all the maps, worksheets, etc. & didn't cost extra to have it.

We enjoyed this curriculum, but the kids did find it a little dry. Many of the lessons lacked some detail and seemed to be a little generic. We did add additional hands on activities. Overall, we did enjoy
