Waterpede Water Toy Recalled May 2018
This bath time toy by Munchkin is being recalled. The bubble section can break exposing small beads and posing a possible small parts hazard to young children.
Recall Details
This popular Munchkin toy Is being recalled due to a chocking hazard. The one piece multi-colored Centipede -shaped toy allows water to be scooped from the top, and flows through the chambers of bottom. The bath toy is 100% plastic and is for children six months and up.
The company has received one report of the toy breaking apart and exposing small beads. Thank goodness there have been no reports of injuries.
Over 72,000 Waterpedes have been sold for $5 to $7 between September 2015 and January 2018 at Target, Babies”R”Us, Walmart, Amazon.com and other retailers nationwide. If you have one, Munchkin will replace it for you with a free replacement bath toy of comparable value.
