Our Family Is Growing!

Yes! It’s true! The Hip Homeshool Moms family is growing!

You may already know that we (Wendy and Trish) own Hip Homeschool Moms. But we also own some other sites we’d love to tell you about if you don’t already know about them. And (surprise!) we just bought another site that we think you’ll love, so keep reading!

We’ve owned Hip Homeschool Moms since January of 2012. It started out as a website where moms can get homeschool encouragement, curriculum, fun giveaways, and helpful information. In fact, we still offer all of those things! Our Facebook Page started about the same time.

A few years later, we opened the Hip Homeschool Moms Facebook Community where moms can go to make friends, ask questions, answer other moms’ questions, share life with each other, and be a part of a supportive group of moms. We love these moms and are blessed by them every day! We love the fact that the Hip Homeschool Moms Community is such an active community–especially for many moms who don’t have much local homeschool support.

In 2016, we created a division of Hip Homeschool Moms called Homeschool Road Trips. The moms in the Facebook Community wanted to do in-real-life meet-ups, so they asked us if we would plan one. We thought it sounded like a great idea, so we did! Our first trip was so successful and so much fun that we decided to keep doing them! We have started both a Facebook Page and a closed Facebook Group for Homeschool Road Trips.

We decided to give the travel division its own name since we have lots of dads that travel with us. (For some reason, the dads didn’t want to travel–especially if they went without their wives–with a group called Hip Homeschool Moms! Haha!) So now our travel division is called Homeschool Road Trips, and we call our trips HEART trips–which stands for Homeschool Enrichment Adventure Road Trips.

And now we’re thrilled to announce that we are the new owners of Only Passionate Curiosity too!

We found out not long ago that the owner of Only Passionate Curiosity, Heather, was considering selling her site. We loved the site and knew right away that we were interested in buying it! We talked about it, prayed about it, and decided to talk to Heather about it. Thankfully, Heather trusted us enough to allow us to buy it from her, and we’re so glad she did!

Right now, you’ll still find Heather’s photos on the front page of the site and her information in the “About Us” section. Once we (Wendy and Trish) make it through homeschool convention season and our next HEART trip (to New Mexico in October), we’ll work on making the site our own.

For those who are already familiar with Only Passionate Curiosity, you don’t have to worry! We’re still going to provide lots of freebies and printables just like Heather did! We will also continue to share lots of great information about how to homeschool and how to make homeschooling easier and more fun. For those who aren’t yet familiar with it, we definitely hope you’ll take a look at the site and start going there regularly! You’ll find information such as:

  • How to homeschool for free
  • Curriculum information and reviews
  • printable worksheets
  • Printable planners
  • Lesson plans
  • Homeschool support
  • Information about how to homeschool
  • And more!

It has a Facebook Page, Pinterest Page and a new Instagram Page we just started!  We hope you will follow them all as well! You will also want to sign up for the newsletter because we are sharing free printables twice per week. Be sure to grab them when we email them out because after their initial free period, they will go into the store at regular price!

So for now, we want to say thank you so much to all of you who have supported us (and who continue to support us) on our websites and our Facebook groups as well as on our road trips! We truly do love what we do, and working with families like all of yours makes it much more fun and rewarding!

Whether you’re familiar with all of the sites and groups we mentioned here or whether they’re new to you, please do stop by each one, read some articles, and leave us some comments! It honestly means a lot to us to hear from you in the comments on our sites! We truly do care about what you want to read and learn more about.

With love from us!
