Leann is a homeschooling mama of an over-active 6 year old, proud wife of a cop, and pet lover of their two dogs, frogs, turtles – and cricket. Every child can master cursive in the first grade, and many of our first graders write better than typical third graders. Learning cursive early ensures that students are not slowed down or frustrated in the upper grades when they are focusing on other subjects, such as grammar and composition.

This course is a continuation of Basic Math Skills. The style and format are identical. Content ranges from pre-algebra to introduction to basic algebra concepts. A scientific calculator is required. This course is also an excellent refresher course for persons who completed eighth grade math, but need to brush up on pre-algebra concepts before enrolling in algebra I or attempting competency exams for certification.
