Apologia's Human Body: Fearfully & Wonderfully Made (Advanced Biology) curriculum comes to life with this great tool. All "On Your Own" questions are together in a journal format, so the student doesn't have to re-write all of the questions. All "Study Guide" questions at the end of each module are represented by colorful booklets that each student cuts out and assembles within his or her notebook. Lab reports are partially completed, with Supplies, Introduction, & Procedure portions completed and Observations, Diagrams, & Summary left blank for the student to fill out. This file includes 744 pages of helpful and organized tools for improved retention of this challenging topic.
This companion CD is designed to be used with Apologia's "The Human Body" course. It's not the full course, but rather contains pronunciations for some difficult words and concepts, as well as videos of experiments that students aren't able to do themselves. Multimedia animations of figures in this course are included as well to help the student better grasp each aspect of the course.
These are the dissection specimens for Advanced Biology. No dissection tools are included. Specimens are preserved in a non-toxic, odorless, biodegradable preservative with no special ventilation required! Kit Contains: Cow Eye, Fetal Pig (9"-11"), Cow Heart
With one simple finger-prick, you can learn your blood type! There are enough materials for one test; for educational purposes only.
This accompanying student notebook journal includes 16 modules that correspond to the 16 modules in the text. This interactive resource includes graphic organizers; "On Your Own" questions (with room to answer them); study guide questions; quarterly reviews; diagrams to label, and lots of lined (Cornell-system) note-taking pages specifically designed for students to create their own convenient notebook to study and prepare for tests. Lab report forms for each experiment in the textbook's module are also provided.

My son loves all Apologia science texts. He enjoys listen ending to the audio and completing the notebooks. Even though I don't foresee this child pursuing a career in science, he wants to use Apologia materials. I actually encouraged him to use a less intense curriculum so he could focus more time on his more beloved studies, but still, he chooses Apologia every year.

My 10th grader is using this for his science this year. I'm an RN and was very impressed with the level of detail and how complete it is. I'd say it's almost on level with a college level anatomy class. He's learned a lot.
