    The Bible is a collection of sixty-six books in two parts—the Old and New Testaments. Our God’s Great Covenant series dedicates two student editions to the Old Testament and two to the New Testament (the fourth book is in production). In this series, we focus on teaching younger children the overarching story of the Bible, which features God bringing a people into redemptive relationship with Himself by means of a grand covenant.     This course, designed for high school students, studies the 15 basic components of cultures from 5000 BC through 2011 AD: Agriculture, Architecture, Communication, Discoveries, Dominant Personalities, Education, Families, Food, Government, Industry, Energy, Military, Religion, Sports, and Transportation. Chapter one begins with evidence of civilization in the Fertile Crescent, and expands to the major continents of the world. A conversational narrative style is designed to engages students. Selected vocabulary words are highlighted and defined to help enrich the students’ understanding of the English language. Illustrations and maps are sprinkled through each chapter to create mental images that solidify comprehension of the People, Places, & Events of World History. Character principles are added to each lesson to prompt students to consider how their world view of life is being shaped. This course consists of six chapters. This course is designed for one transcript credit.

    Because I want to encourage young children back to the wonderful art of sewing, I have designed an online video course which is perfect for teaching children how to sew their very own doll clothes. It has over 130 step-by-step instructional videos covering everything from explaining the different types of fabric, how to use various sewing tools and how to sew basic stitches through to attaching frills and working with elastic.
