JessicaSprague.com Photography Camp Giveaway {Closed}

Do you have a child interested in photography? How about Photoshop? Are you looking for something fun, educational and different for them this summer? Then these classes are for you! . . . Or rather, for your children.

JessicaSprague.com – a fabulous, online learning classroom and shop for digital crafters – is now offering Photography and Photoshop Summer Camps for kids!

Kids Photography Camp

The three-week long Kids Photography Camp is designed for children ages 8 – 13 and will teach basic photography and camera techniques. No special equipment is required – any point and shoot camera; even a cell phone or iPod with a camera will work!

Every day your child will get an email with a printable card that includes a new photography technique and a new assignment. There are weekly videos, a class forum, and a class gallery where they can ask questions and post their images. Each Friday they will receive a fun photography scavenger hunt to keep them learning and discovering new things all week long!

The class is taught by Candice Stringham, an editorial photographer turned scrapbooker. Candice Has a BFA in Photography and taught at a collegiate level after she graduated. Two sessions of the kids camp will be offered: June 11 – 29 and July 9 – 27

The session fee is $36 and we have a discount for families with multiple children who would all like to take the class. Just add ten dollars for each additional sibling instead of the whole $36!

  1. I have a son who received a camera for his birthday. He loves to take pictures of random things. I think this camp will be great for him to really find and take some great photos.

  2. My daughter asked to take a picture one day and I had to go find her, she had filled my memory card! Some interesting shots from her perspective were gotten that day. I think she would really enjoy this. Of course I will probably have to let the younger one take a few as well just to keep the peace in the family. Time to get out the old camera I think. 🙂
