Hip Homeschool Hop
Thank you for linking up with us on our Hip Homeschool Hop! We’re glad to have you. And if you’re here to take a look around and find some fun topics, good information, ideas, or support, we’re glad to have you too! But first we hope you’ll take a look at some of our team members’ favorite posts from last week’s Hop. Enjoy!

If you have younger students in your homeschool, you might be interested in these great Free Eat-a-Rainbow Printables and Montessori-Inspired Activities! These are great for a fun way to study about colors and healthy foods at the same time.

If you have teens, this article, 4 Tips for Effectively Parenting Teens, may be just what you need! Parenting teens can be challenging at times, and it’s always great to get some tips from other moms who have “been there and done that.”

We get a lot of questions here on Hip Homeschool Moms about homeschooling preschoolers and younger elementary-aged children.Articles like this one, 7 Fun Counting Activities to Do with Your Preschooler, are fun, practical, real-life activities you can do with your young child to teach counting skills!

Most of us at one time or another (if we’ve been homeschooling very long) have had dealings with resistant learners. Some children are resistant by nature, others are resistant on occasional “bad” days, and some go through seasons of being resistant. No matter which situation you’re in, the tips in this article, 10 Homeschooling Strategies to Use with Your Resistant Child, may help you deal more effectively with your resistant learner!

Guidelines for the hop:

  1. You can link up to 3 posts from your blog. Make sure you use the exact URL to the post.
  2. You can link up kid activities, homeschool related, or homemaking/recipe posts. Posts unrelated to these topics will be removed. (Please no product reviews or “marketing” posts unless they are homeschool related.)
  3. Please either include the Hip Homeschool Hop button (found at the bottom of the site) or a link back to Hip Homeschool Moms.
  4. The linky will go live each week at 6am EST, and will be live until Saturday at midnight.
