This is actually our first year using BJU. We are using the Distance Learning option. My daughter loves it! She is doing 4th grade and this is her 3rd week. It has been an adjustment as far as learning where everything is and how to organize it, but definitely a wonderful program. In just three weeks, my daughter has learned so much. The teachers are great. I love that it is easy to customize according to what she needs.
I have used BJU for my three children. My oldest is currently in fifth grade and we have used it since PreK. All three of them love the videos and books. They often call each other over to watch the skits in the videos. The video keeps them engaged and interested in the subject. Academically they are all doing very well and scoring well on state tests. We love BJU and highly recommend it!

Pros
Trusted Curriculum, Engaging for Students, Biblical Worldview
Cons
Takes time to become acquainted with preparing for the days work
We decided to put our son in a Christian school second semester this year because he needed to be accountable to someone other than his momma. He also needed the competition from other students. We were a little apprehensive about how he would do in the classroom setting. He has done very well and is ahead academically. We only used BJU for the 12 years we homeschooled and it is the best "all in one" curriculum on the market. Let's say... I have my A student back again and we are thrilled.

Pros
All in one. Teacher are passionate about the subject they teach.
Cons
The online sometimes has issues with the server. Happens about 3 times a year.
We love BJU Press and have used it for many years for different subjects. I am so confident that every subject I choose is going to be covered thoroughly and fully and my children will be challenged and engaged. I am grateful to have the option of a curriculum that combines rigor and Biblical world view.
Currently using BJU as the primary curriculum for all three of my kids. Solid, all-inclusive, engaging material.

Pros
Engaging topics covered with relevant Christian perspective. Love the visuals and layout of BJU textbooks. Excellent reinforcement activities that can be assigned to see if your child is truly understanding what they read.
Cons
Pricey. We have loved all subjects except for middle school Grammar. My son and I both found the concepts presented in a confusing manner. The teaching manual was not helpful in clarifying. That is ONLY for grammar. All other subjects including elementar
