My daughter and I loved All About Spelling. She loved using the tiles and white board. I think it gave her a good base for spelling. I like that it teaches (and reviews) the spelling rules and exceptions instead of just having them memorize word lists. This is a perfect curriculum for your social/creative child.

Cons
High parent involvement. For older kids, they still recommend going through all the levels which can get boring and expensive
