We adore usborne books. We started our journey with the preschool books such as the touchy feely "thats not my..." books and the find it books that build vocabulary and beginning reading skills. Ted and friends collection was used to help my son while learning phonics. Now we are enjoying the beginner series. Excellent books for independent or guided reading that explore a wide variety topics. They have helped foster a love for reading in my children. We have several of the collection books that we use for bedtime stories. I also love the replacement policy. I have heard concern over alignment with a biblical world view. We haven't had any trouble yet other than a dinosaur book, but it was anticipated. We used it as a conversation opportunity.
