Review Detail

This was a great program for us in the early elementary years. The only drawback was the work load on the part of the parent. Every book has to be found at the library (in addition to any "spine" resources you choose to use as recommended by the publishers). And it is difficult to pick and choose which topics/people you will cover or skip as you go along if you're like me and hate to skip anything! However, my kids loved making the notebooks and retained a LOT as they went along. The discussions we had based on the questions in the material were wonderful and in the end, it was a tough program to let go of. We moved from this to Trail Guide to Learning.
