We LOVE See the Light. I just go to the website or stick the DVD in, make sure all the art supplies needed are readily available (most everything you will have, colored pencils, chalk, etc. The only thing I wanted was better paper and a black light. Since we have been doing See the Light off and on for a couple years, I have added things to our art supplies like good paints, watercolors, erasers, and some other recommendations from STL), and my kids just go for it. Even my high schooler has watched the lessons and wants to participate. I am not good in art and really don't enjoy it much (probably because I feel inadequate and not very talented) but my kids love it and it's a good means of getting an art program into our home school.

It's easy, it's fun and any age can do it
Cons
Not many cons, just make sure you have the recommended products and they usually give you an alternative method if you don't have a particular product.
