I used this curriculum with my 9 year old son who loves everything space. I purchased the Jr. Notebooking Journal for him to use which was great. It's a place for him to keep everything he learned in one spot and look at whenever he wants to refresh his memory. Each lesson contained information to read and activities. The mini lapbooks and flipbooks you make in the Notebooking Journal are a perfect hands-on way to help your child retain the information you read with him. There are also experiments that use simple materials you most likely have around your home or can usually find at the dollar store.
