This is one of my absolute favorite curriculum's . My kids had so much fun using this curriculum they learned so much and they also grew an even greater love for reading. I would recommend this to anyone. I think especially the new homeschooler with multiple kids would really love this. It takes alot of the the guess work out of the what am I going to use for this and that. You only have to choose a few subjects to have a rounded out year . Again I love this curriculum .

We love Trail Guide to Learning. I used Paths of Exploration with my 4th grader and 6th grader, using the Middle School Supplement for my 6th grader. We have read fantastic books, gotten a first hand feel for history, and made some cool art. I love how spelling, vocabulary and comprehension skills are interwoven within the lessons, so my kids gained skills without feeling like we had moved on to another subject

We Love this program! My child has learned and retained so much. Not only did they learn history, but also gained confidence in art and study skills. My child can tell you more about the history of the time period studied (Paths of Exploration) than many adults! I have learned more about history myself. My 1st grader also enjoyed the stories and activities. This program has simplified our homeschool day and made my child independent in their work. I highly recommend!

Never thought I would like a boxed curriculum, but this one is enjoyable. My 11 yo ds is a reluctant reader and writer actually likes this program.

I do recommend this product even though it really didn't work for us. The lessons are very comprehensive and thorough. My daughter learned a lot while we used this, but she has a learning delay which causes her to work at a slow pace. Therefore, the amount of time needed to get through the lessons was just too much for us.

This is a wonderful program that puts the fun back in learning. It is a much gentler approach than the divided subject approach. With so many additional options such as the Bible supplement, lapbooks, etc. it is a wonderfully well-rounded program for the parent and the children. And having siblings learning together at their own level is easy and wonderful for the homeschool environment!
