I purchased SOS 3rd grade Science and LA for my son. I was hoping for something that he could do independently. I didn't realize that the science piece still required experiments. Also he was not proficient in typing so it was hard for him to complete many of the LA requirements. Also the novelty of the computer quickly wore off and he found it boring.
