BBR season 1 introduces the student to genres, points of view, types of conflict using a fiction story chosen by the student. The student needs to summarize the book and usually paraphrase a favorite scene. Then this material is to be presented in one of 3 ways. Student also is to make crossword puzzle or multiple choice test about details of the story. I really liked this format.
